At Senger Brothers Construction, Design-Build means bringing planning, design, budgeting, and construction together under one team. Our process creates a clear path from your initial vision to a finished project—while keeping constructability, budget, schedule, and quality in focus from the beginning.

1. Discovery & Vision

Every great project starts with a conversation.

We meet with you to understand your vision, goals, priorities, desired features, property, timeline, and preliminary budget. Whether you're considering a custom home, addition, renovation, pole barn, or commercial project, this stage establishes the foundation for everything that follows.

2. Site & Feasibility

We determine what it will take to build your vision.

SBC evaluates the project site and identifies important considerations such as zoning, utilities, access, grading, drainage, permitting, and existing conditions. We begin looking at the project through a builder's perspective early so potential challenges can be addressed before construction begins.

3. Concept & Design

Your ideas begin taking shape.

We work with you and the appropriate design professionals to develop the project's layout, appearance, functionality, and major specifications. Plans are refined around your goals while considering constructability, material selections, building requirements, and cost.

4. Budget & Preconstruction

We turn the design into a construction plan.

As the project becomes defined, SBC develops pricing, scopes of work, material specifications, subcontractor requirements, and a preliminary construction schedule. Our involvement during design allows us to identify opportunities to improve value and construction efficiency before work begins.

5. Final Plans & Project Preparation

We prepare the project for the field.

Plans and specifications are finalized, required permits and approvals are coordinated, subcontractors and suppliers are scheduled, and long-lead materials are identified. Before breaking ground, our goal is to have the project organized and ready for efficient execution.

6. Construction & Execution

The vision becomes reality.

SBC manages the construction process from the jobsite. We coordinate trades, materials, inspections, schedules, quality control, and communication throughout the build. With specialized capabilities in concrete and framing, our team brings hands-on building experience to some of the most important structural phases of a project.

7. Completion & Final Walkthrough

We finish with the same attention to detail that we started with.

As construction comes to completion, we perform final quality checks, coordinate required inspections, address remaining items, and walk the completed project with you. Our objective is to deliver a finished project that reflects the original vision and the standards established at the beginning.
